Deena Reed LMT, CR  Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reflexologist

I completed my training  in June of 2008 at The Evergreen Center for the Healing Arts.  I got amazing training at that school in Vancouver WA.  We had class sizes of 4 to 8 which allowed for a lot of one-on-one training.  The teachers were great and had more than enough time to teach us the curriculum.  Our group graduated that spring with the highest GPA's that had come out of that school. I have been a licensed Massage Therapist and Certified in Reflexology since 2009.  I have been certified in the MYK (Myokinestheticic)System sine 2015. This technique was patented by a chiropractor that understood that soft tissue must be addressed in order to make a real change in pain and movement restoration. When clients come in with shoulder problems I start their session with a C-5 treatment. It takes about 10 minutes and we achieve outcome goals easily.

I have earned my Advanced Medical Massage Certification since then.   I enjoy the continuing education classes, I don't just take them because I have to. Techniques to support the nervous system has been my focus in the last few years.

I have been in the service industry for about 30 years so I know how to take good care of my clients.  I have been a Jafra Cosmetics International skin care consultant since I was 18. Even though it is more of a hobby than a career I kept up on training on how to run a service oriented business.

I have been interested in massage and reflexology since I was in my teens.  My aunt planted the seeds of the healing passion in me.  I took a Massage Home Study course at that time but decided to get married and have kids instead of pursuing a career in massage.

My goal is to facilitate healing and well being.  I am honored to be a part of your wellness program and goals.  Seeing the before and after massage faces brings me great joy.  People come in to see me with stressed out and taught expressions from pain on their faces.  After the session the smiles and relaxed facial features are very rewarding to see. Not to mention they are usually standing up much straighter. Balancing posture gives the body a chance to heal the way God designed it to.

 I still work my day job at La Center School District. I support the elementary staff as a Para Educator. I love coming along side the teachers and students to really make a difference. Massage Therapy is my passion. I love to help people ease their pain.  

I enjoy gardening, bible studies and painting in my spare time.
